Projects Under Construction
There are currently no construction projects being managed by the department. Recently constructed projects include the Suber Road Sidewalk (near Hammett Crossing, approx. $50,000) and the Bent Creek Development Street Rehab and Paving (substantially complete, approx. $200,000).
Projects Under Design
The design of the following T.I.F. projects is under contract to an engineering consultant, Davis and Floyd, Inc., and is being coordinated by the department:
- Lorla Street Reconstruction - from Hampton Road to Elmer Street (approx. $300,000 to $400,000).
- Chick Springs Road Reconstruction - from Dill Street to Suber Road (approx. $700,000 to $800,000).
The Victor Road Culvert Extension project is currently being designed in-house. See Drainage Projects for more information (approx. $30,000 to $60,000).
New Resolution
Resolution Number 11-2004
A Resolution of the City of Greer, South Carolina Authorizing Increases in Planning and Zoning Fees; Engineering and Stormwater Management Review and Inspection Fees; Building Permit Fees; Electrical Permit Fees; Plumbing Permit Fees; and Mechanical Permit Fees.
This resolution shall become effective on July 1, 2004.
Steps for Submitting Engineering/Stormwater Fee to the City
- Include total acreage and linear feet of roadway in your submission to Planning and Zoning for the ARC meeting.
- At ARC meeting, you will receive a completed Review/Inspection Fee Form (see example) showing your fee with the total acreage and linear feet of roadway.
- Submit the Review/Inspection Fee Form, the appropriate fee, and completed set of plans for review to City Hall.
- At City Hall, an administrative employee will take your signed and dated form, sign it as received and give you a copy for your records.
- Should the total acreage or linear feet of roadway change, please inform City Engineer or Storm Water Director before submission of plans.
