The Director of Public Services, Mr. Skipper Burns, oversees all activities of the Street and Drainage Maintenance Program, Residential Solid Waste Collection, and the Recycling Program.  The Public Services Department maintains city streets by repairing holes, resurfacing, sweeping, and curbing.  Public Services is also in charge of leaf removal (seasonal) and limb removal.  During times of need, the Department also keeps the streets passable during inclement weather.  During late the late Spring and Summer, Public Services also uses a mosquito program to minimize the risk of virus transfer.  If you have a question or comment for the Public Services Department, please contact them by dialing (864) 848-2184.
