Dedication and Community Open House
planned for Police and Court Complex

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster will visit Greer on May 19 to help dedicate the new Greer Police and Court Complex and a Community Open House is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. that day to give the Upstate a look at the city's newest facility.

preparing for June 20 launch

Downtown Greer will once again play host to tropical breezes, cool refreshments, and beach music this summer, as “Tunes on Trade” and the encore season of “Greer Idol” are planned for six consecutive Friday evenings beginning June 20.

Greer Children's Theatre to stage
"Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing"

Author Judy Blume has built a loyal following among children and young adults with her numerous books.  That fan club grew even larger when her 1972 release “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” was adapted for the stage, a production the Greer Children’s Theatre will present June 6-8 and June 13-15 at the J. Harley Bonds Career Center.
